The Samsung Galaxy S III has a proximity sensor that detects when the phone is in a pocket or other close-fitting location, such as a purse or a bag, and increases the volume for incoming call ringtones. Cool, right? But the function has to be enabled – here’s how-to:
- From the home screen, touch Phone.
- Touch Menu, then Call Settings.
- Touch Increase Volume in Pocket.
- To disable this function, repeat these instructions.
